Manufacturing software applications come in all shapes and sizes. Seldom does the one stop shop fit every scenario. I have found those most effective are the home grown variety. Those that are “uniquely you” if you will. While I think you start with a base it’s pretty obvious to me the tuning of the base or adding specific components to solve a particular problem makes good sense.
